Youth Development Program

EduCare Foundation Inc., a US non-religious non-profit organization registered in State of New Jersey since 1994, continues to provide educational assistance to needy children in India. Educare has started similar program in USA since 2012.

In line with its mission to support children's education, EduCare has initiated a new program to help High School Students to develop their leadership potential and to prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow.

High School students often get neglected by our society. Most of the focus in today's education system is on the elementary school age children. There are not enough quality programs available for High School students that motivate them to explore and develop their full potential.

EduCare's Youth Leadership Program aims to bridge that gap by providing a community based volunteering program that not only allows High School students to develop their leadership skills such as Public Speaking, Writing, Compassion, Time Management to name a few but also allows them to provide a service to the community they live in.

EduCare has also started a Toastmasters Club for its Youth Leaders to build upon their public speaking skills. Toastmasters International (www.toastmasters.org) is a world leader in communication and leadership development. The initiation of EduCare Youth Leadership Toastmaster Club took place on October 19, 2013.

Toastmaster Sessions are held on First and Third Sundays of the month at Piscataway Public Library from 3-4:30pm.

EduCare Youth Leadership Program has started with a bang with Backpack Drive and Adopt-A-School projects.
